I am so tired...
I had a very busy day -- and was very drained for most of the day. I've been running on a low energy level.
Had lots of hassles with the phone company...and the gas company. They insist that the site does not have a meter. We actually have 6 on the building.
All crises happen on Fridays.
I headed out to the new Kohl's. I was so excited...then I realized I needed a life. I finally found it (after first driving to a wrong location). I wandered around a bit. Their clothes were so-so, as I expected them to be. I checked out their makeup, but the salesperson was a bit over-enthusiatic (I'm one of those that I will ask when I am ready) so I meandered over to the shoe department.
I bought 2 really great pair of boots...one a pair of patent-leather alligator (black) and the other plain, black leather.
This means that I can actually throw out my snakeskin Nine Wests which I have been holding together with cardboard and chewing gum. I could swear I could feel if a dime was heads up or down while standing on it.
I also bought a pair of PJ's...I rarely wear them, but I realize that if I go away for a weekend, I do need one more than one pair.
Tonight I stopped of and picked up some munchie foods...we had Italian peppers stuffed with hummus...crackers, cheddar cheese, a nice salami, peppercorn ranch dip. Yum.
Then, tonight we went store hopping...buying stuff for the store. Incidentals such as wastepaper baskets and stuff. We have so many boxes in our house that it looks as if we are moving.
More of the same tomorrow.
Tomorrow night, me, EVIL, and our husbands are going to a nightclub in Harlem to hear her MIL sing...and maybe drink some wine :-)
Sunday, I will rest.
