Enchantment Under the Sea

It's 3:54am and I'm about to go back to bed. My ear is killing me. I have another ear infection that I began to feel Saturday night (I had an itchy ear all last week, but I have excema in my ears and I thought it was just that)and by Sunday it was bothering me more. Sunday night, we went out to New Hope to go to our favorite restaurant, Wildflowers, but...even with a good glass of Pinio Grigio chilled to perfection, the experience wasn't the best because I had that "Enchantment Under the Sea" thing going in my ears. I found some old ear drops that had expired about a year ago and figured I wouyld use them to try and slow things down some til I got to the doctor.

Today, I headed out to the clinic I usually go to, thinking that there was an outside chance that it might be open, since it is an emergency clinic open weird hours. No luck. It was closed.

It wasn't really a bad day all in all as I headed out to the mall. I'm still searching for a tiny nose stud...tinier than the one I have now. I see people with ones that are barely there and the only way that you can see them is if they move their heads in a certain light. No such luck.

I went into Sephora to look for tinted eyebrow gel, but all they had was clear. I love Chanel's tinted eyebrow gel, but it is $30...I know, what does it matter after I spent $580 the other day on clothing I don't need...but I was trying to be good. I wandered into Essentials and bought a clear one from Cover Girl for $5-something. Also, a nail polish by Essie called Vinyl Bikini. At least if I don't have time to get my nails done, I can throw that on and have some semblance of a finished look. I have been walking around with bare nails lately and that is too weird for me.

I headed to get my nails and toes done and when I put my package on their tiled floor, I realized that I broke the cap on top (cracked it). I spent $6-fucking-fifty on this bottle, so I wasn't about to throw it out...I asked them to tape it for me and carried it in my hand when I left the nail place. By then the mall was almost getting ready to close, but I did get some decent browsing in.

I really did enjoy my day.

After I got home, Browneye and I went to Applebee's...then we checked out the new Super Stop-n-Shop (ok...we really need a life, but we needed stuff anyway).

When I got home, I put my winter clothes away and took all my summer things out. I either need to get rid of some stuff, or get a bigger closet. Sheeesh....I think at the end of this season, whatever I haven't worn for 2 summers is going.

Tomorrow, is opening...I think Browneye is going to call out in his regular job and take Spencer to be hydrated while I go to the doc. I will probably have to wait to see him, then it will be another hour or two to wait to get my prescription filled. I want to get that done asap so I start having it in my system. My ear infections move very quickly. I took a painkiller I have lying around. I can still move my head and open and close my jaw all the way, so that is ok...in a few hours I might not be able to do that though.

The drugs have just kicked in, so I'm headed to bed for a few hours sleep (and cool air).
