I think.
It looks as if I am going to ease into it since "The Kid" (we have been referring to our new employee as "The Kid" when we speak about him, so it seems like a good cyber name for him) will actually be working with the contractor the first few days in setting up the shop. I will go over with him the handbook and start on the practice of the POS system.
I am hoping that we get our C of O in the next few days. That would make things a lot easier for me.
I was so tired last night that I couldn't think at all. My brain just fried. Completely.
So...what did I do this weekend?
Go on a frivolous spending spree.
That's right, boys and girls. I was spending it like I had it.
I went to the Clinique counter at Macy*s in Menlo Park and blew...oh, $235 on makeup. Eye colors, lipsticks, blush, pencils, some skin care. A ton of stuff.
Problem is I have a shitload of Mary Kay inventory at home. Eye colors, lipsticks, blush, pencils, some skin care. A ton of stuff. You get the picture.
I realize I could never stick to one line. I love all brands of makeup.
I also realize that I prefer some MK stuff more than others. Namely their mascara, some of their skin care. Their skin care is actually better than their color. I always felt that they were a bit behind in their color though. Plus, I could never find a lipstick that I liked. Clinique had this lipstick that I absolutely adore.
So tomorrow...is the first day. The kid comes in 10-6, but I will ask him to come in 8-4 tuesday and maybe wednesday so his hours can jive with the contractor's for a bit.
Everything is set. The handbook is made up...my car is loaded.
