12:05 a.m. - 2005-08-15 I'm becoming just like Bunnicula38 (LJ)You know, the same Bunnicula38 who bought 6 lava lamps off Ebay. Well...I didn't by lava lamps, but I bought 3 necklaces. Granted, they're awesome, but I really shouldn't be spending any money. I actuallt spent too much money on ebay this week. Not good, since Browneye has been laid off. My sense of reasoning has gone to shit. Grrrrrrrrrr... Anyway, this past two week's purchases are: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7534181252&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5020546837&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7536782917&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5023354557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5021737552&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 And shortly before those, I bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7338998145&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7338999614&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 I have been a bad, bad girl. On another note, I spent most of my day at the store rearranging my walls (long overdue). I usually change my windows every 2 weeks (3 weeks at the latest), but my walls I tend to let sit. I shouldn't though, especially with my walls that face the outside. I got sick of looking at my walls and even though it's a P.I.T.A. to change them, I realize that I should do it more often. Sooooooooooo...I have this really cool poker grouping that is not selling, even though it had a prominent spot on my wall. Sooooo....I moved it to a wall that people can see from the outside to give it more exposure. I had some stuff in my windows I moved to the walls and vice versa. I had only meant to move a few things to freshen things up, but I ended up moving 80% of my stuff around. Kind of weird, since it is an activity I never did on my own without help. Granted, I'm short and I spent most of my time teetering on top of a stepstool trying to position something heavy and bulky. Not a good idea if your husband is in the shop - oblivious to it all. I could have fallen and he never would have noticed for a couple of hours. I'm thinking about taking my slow, non-sellers and trying to unload them on ebay. Shipping will be a pain and expensive though. And...I picked the hottest day to do all this...it was near 100 today and the sweat was dripping off me. We got a wicked ass thunderstorm that actually put the lights out for a few seconds though...it came at an annoying time when I was printing out something from the computer, but I'd rather have that then sitting on the bowl and getting a fireball up my ass. We did have one customer who came in and spent 5 minutes and $400...nice. Oh. And the next bit of news is Bad Taste To The Nth Degree. The execs at Browneye's old company are holding a posh party in about a week or two. This is while layoffs are going on...this also comes after last year's Xmas party for the worker bees was cancelled because the same execs thought it was "in bad taste" to throw a party after layoffs. Now more people were laid off and the execs are having a shindig sparing no expense. Grrrrrrrrrr... Horn gorwth. Nubbies.
