Down To The Wire!
This is my last night of Sirius Radio...I'm curious as to whether I can get a sub for my 'puter at a reasonable rate...I'm loving this. I have the feed until midday tomorrow.
We finally have power at the location...alla-fucking-luliah! I had gotten a call from the contractor on friday telling me that I didn't have power and I thought that it was gonna be this whole big magilla...the contractor ended up working friday and saturday with a generator. Meanwhile, I had thought the power had been set up all along.
The good news was that the power was up today.
Yay!
I have a bunch of shit to order tomorrow. When the deliveries come, things will get busy and I won't be updating as much as I am now. But I'll still be checking in :-)
We have figured our a quit date for FUP (Fucked Up Publications for you newbies on my friends list)...I have been there for 15 1/2 years and it is about fucking time I quit. I thought I would have been out of there by last year at this time, to tell you the truth. Things took a lot longer than expected...
Aaaanyway...I'm arranging to have things delivered by the end of this month - namely heavy equip and machinery. I figure I leave 2 weeks after that...so my 2 weeks notice will be the end of this month. I'll leave around 11/15 or so.
That freaks me out. I wish there was a way that I could have money deposited into my account anyway. Going without a steady salary for awhile is going to kill me, even though the only things I really need are my weekly manicures (not glue, just plain), my haircut every 4 weeks, pedicures (winter always gets stretched out more), eyebrow and lip waxing. That's not toooo bad. It was heavy mainentance when I had the glue manicures and worse when I have the permanent french.
I have lots of new clothes and boobie cages for my girls, so I'm ok for now. I just won't have the extras.
You can't have everything.
I wish I was indepedently wealthy.
